In an interview with Al-Qabas, one of Kuwait’s leading newspapers, H.E. the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the State of Kuwait shared insights on the initiatives undertaken to further strengthen the longstanding bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and Kuwait.
During the interview, His Excellency highlighted the measures implemented to address the concerns of Sri Lankan migrant workers in Kuwait, enhance their welfare and well-being, and improve employment-related cooperation between the two countries.
The Ambassador also outlined the Embassy’s ongoing efforts to promote Sri Lanka as a preferred tourist destination among Kuwaiti nationals by showcasing the country’s rich cultural heritage, natural beauty, and diverse tourism experiences.
