The Embassy of Sri Lanka in the State of Kuwait participated at “Discover Asia – 7th Asian Bazaar & Exhibition 2026” held on 20th June at Assima Mall, Kuwait City. The occasion was graced by the participation of Ambassadors and Diplomats of the Missions of Asian region and a considerable number of Kuwaiti nationals experienced the cultural diversity of Asian countries. Kuwait print and mass media channels have given a wide coverage for the exhibition.
The Embassy of Sri Lanka showcased Sri Lanka’s traditional crafts, batik garments and handmade creations reflecting the cultural heritage and its uniqueness for the audience. Further, tourism promotional videos were displayed on digital screen which attracted many Kuwaitis and participants from other foreign countries. Especially ‘Peacock Dance’ performed by the Muthu Hansa Dance Troupe in Kuwait was one of fascinating moments of multicultural dance event.
