H.E. Dr. Lakshitha Ratnayake, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the State of Kuwait, recently met with H.E. Dr. Ahmed Abdulwahab Al Awadhi, Minister of Health of the State of Kuwait, for a cordial and productive discussion.
The meeting focused on further strengthening bilateral cooperation in the health sector, including opportunities to expand collaboration in healthcare services, medical training, and the recruitment of Sri Lankan healthcare professionals. The Ambassador also conveyed Sri Lanka’s appreciation for Kuwait’s continued confidence in the skills and dedication of Sri Lankan medical personnel. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation and fostering stronger ties in the field of healthcare for the mutual benefit of Sri Lanka and the State of Kuwait.
